Hi everyone! My name is Nathan, AKA  PrinceZahn  . I see some free time in my future so I think it's a good opportunity to practice writing on demand. I take pride in my extensive vocabulary and patience when working with people, and will write poetry, song lyrics, and short stories and dabble in fan-fiction once in a blue moon. I especially offer my services to those who know what they want to say but can't quite put it into words. I accept points.

Assortment of things that excite me,, in no particular order:

*Genres: Emotional, Comedy, Romantic, Slice of life, Fantasy (Particularly Medieval, modern, and "Gaslamp" fantasy,), worldly folklore, gothic horror (but nothing TOO scary) animals and Nature, historical (Western History), Supernatural/magic, Supeheroes(though my knowledge of them has gaps)

*Music (primarily: rock n' roll, soft, country/folk, world music, pop, indie rock) 

*for anything else, ask me, I'm pretty open minded about most things.

What I can make and provide for you:

* Writings in any of the genres above (sans for romantic short stories) I am (mostly) open minded, so for anything else text me.

Free verse Poetry (rhyming or otherwise) (10   per stanza)

* Flavor texts/snippets for a story.

*Haikus (Drowsy or otherwise, with or without dedication see: Drowsy Haikus in my gallery) (10 per haiku, commission may contain more than one.)

* Structured Poetry (please include a viable tutorial of what you're looking for) (4  per line.)

* Lyrics for Songs ( preferably from the genres above) send me a note with a link to the musical accompaniment of reasonable quality, do not send me sheet music!) (10  per 4 lines of verse), chorus +5 per repetition (1st included). +5 for other fancy stuff. 

* Help and support with articulating and empowering your own creative letters and other scripts (40-150; varies by case and difficulty)

*captions, slogans, or other Evocative text for artwork. (4  per line. ) 

*Short stories (up to 2 slots available) ( 100  per page) (Max. 10 pages)

* Assistance in building your Character/OC [from a creative, non-mechanical perspective. this includes help in any or all of the following: personality, occupation/job/class, race/species/culture (if applicable) appearance, mannerisms, beliefs, and or likes/dislikes (if applicable). (for other things just ask)]: 50-120 points per character depending on the effort.

*"All I wanted was a Llama..." - free for all my fans, commissioners and people I like. you can also ask or send me a llama if that's all you want.

Things I will NOT write for you:

- Horror that's actually SCARY.

- Erotica/Smut/anything else NSFW.

- Science Fiction (exception: Time Travel to the past)

- Jokes ( a standalone work, exception: Limericks and humoristic poetry).   

- Humor that can be  considered "offensive".

 - Prose/flash fiction, plays,  or visual/concrete poetry.

- politics (real world, anyway. ) 

- Stories for toddlers. 

- Stories based on far-eastern cultures.

- Legal Documents. 

- cyberpunk, diesel-punk, or steampunk, you get the point.

 -That Novel, novella, or massive book you dream of writing one day. 

- loud or disturbing song lyrics (exception: Emotional Poetry) 

- That Eulogy you need to write but keep putting it off. 

Some Ground Rules (for both you and myself):

*Since I'm not a mind reader, I need you to tell me as much as possible about what you want from your commission (include as many details as you can of the following: style of writing; genre; themes; desired length in words, lines, or stanzas; appearance of characters; words/features that are important to you/I should avoid; and anything else that you think is important. Is it a story? If so, explain your plot in main points to me from beginning to end, with things you want me to emphasize or be subtle about. Is it for a Special Someone? Tell me about your SS, Is it about your OC? tell me all I need to know about him or her or hir/hem or it. Are you okay with me taking artistic liberties, or do you have a specific vision in mind?)

*I reserve the right to deny your commission request for any reason. If you already payed me, I will send back the amount I received.

*I will read all requests sent to me and reply to them as soon as possible. (In the event that I am flooded with requests, I will require your patience).

*I hold no obligation to tell you your place in the queue or rush to finish your work. please be patient, as you can't rush art.

*If I close commissions, I am obligated to address any remaining requests. or at least, as many as reasonably possible.

*Be prepared to truthfully answer any questions I may have regarding your request, keep no secrets from me, as it makes a big difference on the job.

*I reserve the right to offer suggestions on your work. you may reserve the right to reject these suggestions if they do not suit your vision.

*I'm not keen on PayPal, sorry. Payment is only in points. You are to pay me in advance (as in, after we come to an agreement but before I get started). In the event that I go over your budget (i.e. I wrote the poem too long or too short, or other such complication) I will send you a note on the issue to you and we will discuss our next move, but I will never charge you extra for my own mistakes.

*points are to be delivered in my donation pool or (if available) via the commission widget. Again, PM me before you pay me so I know what you want and can we can agree on the details.

*UPDATE: I also accept Art trades, basically, if you draw something I want, and I'll write whatever you want written. A good piece of art can entitle you to more than one creation by me. Send me a note, we'll negotiate. 

* Depending on the need for research, the length of the commission and the difficulty of the writing, I might require as little as a few hours or as much as several weeks. I will send you drafts of the requested work via Google Docs upon your request.

*I write only in English. This should go without saying. I reserve the right to throw in a word in a foreign language occasionally unless specifically requested otherwise.

*Any and all revisions are free until you are satisfied with my work, same goes for bigger texts. if what you want is an alternate version of a previous commission, however, we can negotiate commissioning a second work at a discount.

*I reserve the right to use the commission I create for you as I please, including (but not limited to): submitting to groups, distributing for personal use, or use as examples for future commissions. In essence, I still own the rights to the piece, but once it is ready you are free to do with it as you please as long as it falls under personal use and you give me credit for my work.

*For OCs: pay 50 up front for each OC, +any points for any amount of story you want me to write about one or more of these OCs. The Discount applies to any story texts I write about characters I help you create or flesh out, if you just want me to write about existing OCs, that falls under Short Stories, sorry.

*for songs: I might require a draft of the sound in your song to get get a better feel of the lyrics you want me to write. If you want to create a the instrumental parts after my lyrics that can work to. Chorus can remain the same in repetition or alternate slightly for no extra charge. I reserve the right to decline if I do not like the music. Contact me for any unusual or fancy lyric work you might want, as it may cost you extra. *You will not use my commissions for commercial use without my consent,* which requires additional payment, for more details on commissioning my words for commercial use, discuss with me privately via notes.

*In the event that I fail to deliver the commission, you will be refunded fully and receive a sincere letter of apology. If such a contingency is not possible, It is your right to demand any amount of new requests(s) with a total cost equivalent to the amount you originally payed, these commissions will be free of charge, and these contingency writings will be top priority. If, for any reason, your DeviantART account is banned (or suspended for 30 days or more) before I could refund your points, you will not be refunded. Also, I will not refund your points to another user or "alts" or pay you in other mediums.

*On Llamas: If you enjoy my works and frequent my page, and want a Llama, or haven't received one, please notify me and I will rectify the issue (assuming I didn't give you one already, in which case, my apologies, but you're out of luck. )

My silence - wracked with guilt

If my inner child judged me now
I wonder what he'd see?

that Man don't need
is cause to have
his ego bleed
not a sound
in Ear Bud's ears
but he won't
succumb to fears

to face the frost
What is worse than
when song fades?
Abrupt rustling
through the shades!
Quivering
he counts to ten
waiting
for the sounds again
but Ear-buds Man
he ain't no fool
draws his gun:
The final tool
"Show yourself!"
Our hero dares
try to hide
that he is scared
"I'll shoot!"
Thusly threatened Man
but ear buds fall
not 'cause they can—
You see
'cause man don't hesitate
shooting; running
far too late
Man runs fast
And Man runs true
Man Centipede of ScreamsI hear them every day
It's too late to turn away
Like a centipede
Constricting— hell bent on it's creed
To crawl across my brain
As I spasm from the pain
To cry out every beg
After each it's hundred legs
"Please let it stop!" I cry
and yet I don't, because I try
To grin
To keep it in
Suffer 'til I'm wearing thin
And they say
it goes away
but it decays
every day
in my mind
I stand kind-
-of left behind
it reminds
me only four
months in store
null of purpose long before...
It doesn't go away
This is not but half my day.
The centipede repeats
Every hundred or more feet.
